FAQ

Commonly Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about the Resilient Education Fund and our scholarship programs.

Who is eligible to apply for the REF scholarship?

Eligibility is open to students currently enrolled in partner universities in Gaza. We evaluate candidates based on academic excellence, personal hardship, and commitment to community service.

How does the selection process work?

We use a data-driven 100-point model. Your application is first scored for eligibility. High-scoring candidates are invited for an interview. The final selection is based on a weighted combination of your eligibility score and interview performance.

What documents are required for the application?

Standard requirements include your university transcript, ID, residential proof, and personal impact essays. Specific funding rounds may require additional documentation like proof of financial hardship or disability status.

Can I apply for more than one scholarship round?

You can apply for any scholarship round for which you meet the eligibility criteria. However, you can only be awarded one scholarship at a time.

How will I know the status of my application?

The application system provides real-time updates. You will also receive email notifications as your application progresses through the stages: Applied, Eligible, Interview, and Qualified.

Is there a deadline for applications?

Each scholarship round has its own specific deadline. Please check the Scholarship Hub periodically for active opportunities and their closing dates.
